A special collaboration with Vestige Story, our very own Canadian boutique, introducing the 雨ニモマケズ - “Be Not Defeated By Rain” Intuit Tee, featuring the Japanese embroidery design by Bliue on the long-lasting quality tee by Vestige Story.

The Intuit Tee is derived from the principle of “slow fashion design”, delivering a life-lasting classic essentials that complement any piece in your wardrobe. The tees are manufactured with a woven crinkle cotton, granting it more shape and structure than your average cotton tee.

The “Be Not Defeated By Rain” handwritten by Bliue in Japanese is embroidered by Vestige Story in Indigo, which has been traditionally used in Japanese textile.

The phrase is taken from Bliue’s personal favourite poem by Kenji Miyazawa, written in the Showa period (1931). This is one of Miyazawa's last literary piece, as he laid in his sick bed, unhampered by illness — he boldly reflected upon life's challenges and encouraged one to go forth with earnestness and kindness.

By creating this embroidery, we want to share Miyazawa's words of healing with you.
